Let the nominations commence!
Nominations officially open today for the Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards to be held on the 28th July at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House.
This is a voting process open only to the Hospitality Industry in Hawke’s Bay (Wairoa to Waipukarau) which allows workers to nominate who they believe is the best in up to 14 different categories.
The nominations are then counted and the top four become finalists in each category where the industry will again vote for the MOST OUTSTANDING in the industry.
Categories include:
 Solemate Safety Solutions Outstanding Chef
 EIT Hawke’s Bay Outstanding Maitre ‘D
 HIS Outstanding Waitperson
 Hospitality Association Outstanding Bartender
 Bay Espresso Outstanding Barista
 Restaurant Association Outstanding Cafe
 Heineken Outstanding Pub
 Grande Gourmet Outstanding Restaurant
 Hawke’s Bay Today Outstanding Supplier
 The Village Press Outstanding Sales Rep
 Hancocks Outstanding Cocktail Maker
 Regal Marlborough Salmon Emerging Chef
 Clearview Estate Best Ambience/style
 Kim Crawford Wines Outstanding Hospitality Personality
Food Hawke’s Bay has been delighted with the response so far particularly from our sponsors who have come on board to support this fantastic event.
