Incident type: Abduction
We have received a number of enquiries from media in regard to an item on TV3 news who reported that a Pizza delivery worker had been abducted this afternoon. We can advise the following 'Police received information form the public shortly after 3pm this afternoon that a person had been abducted from a Howick location.
Police enquiries have located a pizza delivery man. He is assisting police with the investigation. It is very early in the enquiry and police are unable to provide any more information at this stage. Counties-Manukau staff are very busy with a number of incidents and we ask that media do not tey to contact investigative staff until they are in a position to provide more information Issued By: Inspector Kerry Watson
