Operation Leo officers have arrested a total of 44 people throughout the Auckland region and in Waikato over the past three days, including five men today.
Eight search warrants were executed in and around Auckland - including on the North Shore and in the City today.
Four of those arrested face drug charges relating to the supply and sale of Class A and C drugs. One man - a 19 year-old - is charged with possession of a firearm.
Those arrested today are aged between 19 and 44 and all are either associates or members of organised criminal gangs, The Killer Beez and The Tribesmen.
The Armed Offenders Squad assisted officers during today's phase of Operation Leo and located and seized various amounts of methamphetamine, cannabis and cash.
Those arrested today will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow.
