Lower Hutt Police are no longer looking for 13-year-old Taita schoolgirl Aniwaniwa (Aniwa) Mihaere.
Detective Sergeant Scott Cooper, Lower Hutt CIB, said that as a result of inquiries Aniwa was found tonight in northern Hawkes Bay with members of her extended family.
"We're unsure of all the details at this stage but she's safe and well and that's the main thing," he said.
