Incident type: Leaking substance on Awatere Ferry
At 8.45am Police were advised of an unknown substance leaking from a railway wagon on the Awatere Ferry.
The ferry was due to berth at 8.55am at Picton and the Fire Service will be attending to identify the substance and establish whether it is hazardous or an environmental risk.
