Fundraising advice for community groups
An extra long Hastings District Council community forum in mid-February will provide attendees with knowledge as well as practical skills to help them raise funds for their charity or community groups.
The forum focused on fundraising will be held in the Council foyer at 207 Lyndon Street East on Wednesday, 13 February from 11am - 2pm. A group of speakers will present their thoughts on fundraising and then will give more practical information to those interested during informal break-out sessions.
The Community Development Team organises regular Community Forums to provide information on a range of topics and services. The Community Forums are particularly aimed at those involved in, or working with, community organisations and the not-for-profit sector. The format for the Community Forums generally consists of a guest speaker, followed by an opportunity for informal discussion and networking. The forums are free to attend.
