Waitati School ponders future of bonfire night
The Waitati School PTA would like to put forward the idea of establishing a community based committee, to help in the running of the annual Bonfire and Fireworks Night.
It has become a huge job for just one or two people (although enthusiastic), to run on their own. We think the establishment of a community committee, with a representation from the school PTA is a way to continue this great event. The Waitati School is still very keen to have the event held in the grounds.
A small public meeting will be called in late February 2008 asking for volunteers.
