Injured Biker Choppered To Wellington Hospital

Rescue Helicopter Delivers Motorbike Rider To Hospital
The Wellington based Westpac rescue Helicopter was called to a 53yr old male
motorbike rider who was involved in a RTC at the summit of the Akatarawa Rd.
The Westpac Helicopter responded to the scene with a Wellington Free
Paramedic on board.
We landed next to the ambulance on the dirt carpark at
the summit of the road.
He was transported to Wellington Hospital Emergency
Department with suspected shoulder and neck injuries.
