French filmmaker Chantal Akerman records attitudes to Mexican migration in a series of interviews on both sides of the
US border which reveal not only the physical but also the psychological boundaries.
Midday - Soundtrack to War (95mins)
George Gittoes follows the American-led invasion of Iraq through music, from the testosterone-fuelled anthems played in
the tanks to raps written and performed by the soldiers themselves.

Alfredo Jaar’s haunting film is structured around six different versions of the Angolan song Muxima, or heart. Landmines
have left one in every 330 people in the former Portugese colony an amputee.
Laura Waddington's documents attempts by refugees from France’s Sangatte camp to escape to England through the channel
tunnel. Her poetic images capture the fear, terror and sense of limbo felt by those on the border.
