FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Free Hugs Project Wound Up In Auckland
The Kiwi PC has concluded conducting the "Free Hugs Project" in Auckland.
"It wasn't as successful as we thought it would be," says Mr Swift, producer and front-man of The Kiwi PC. "We only got about 15 hugs in the same time period, which wasn't as good as Wellington last weekend."
Members of the crew attributed the lack of hugs to the atrocious weather in the weekend, and as a result the Auckland experiment may be repeated to give a better control of the variables. However, all the original footage will be edited and posted on Youtube, as many individuals were looking forward to the release this week.
Mr. Swift is also travelling to Christchurch this weekend to conduct the experiment in Cathedral Square.
"Hopefully we will get more hugs in Christchurch than we did in Auckland, and next week we should know which city is the friendliest."
The Kiwi PC has also been receiving much feedback on Youtube about the results of the experiment in Wellington.
Progress can be found by searching "kiwipc" in channels on http://www.youtube.com/, and through the official website, http://kiwipc.blogspot.com/.
The Kiwi PC is an independent New Zealand podcast that has been produced by Auckland teenagers for over a year. For more information about The Kiwi PC or this press release, please contact Edward Swift at thekiwipc@gmail.com or by calling 0273406599.
