Incident Type: Arrest Made in Kidnapping Case
Earlier this evening Avondale CIB arrested a 26 yr old Mt Albert man, who will appear in the Auckland District Court
tomorrow, on charges of kidnapping and attempted to kidnapping. These are in relation to two incidents near Western
Springs College last Friday. Police received enormous support from members of the public, colleagues throughout the
country and media during their investigation and would like to thank all those concerned.
