Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 20 May to Friday 26 May
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for the construction of the Northern Busway over the next week (weather permitting).
Sunday 21 May and Monday 22 May
NORTHCOTE RD INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED – overnight for both nights from 9pm until 5.30am the following morning to allow for works on electric cables:
- Motorists to use Tristram Ave or Onewa Rd off-ramps as alternatives.
- However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work on this date, the above closure will be on 23 May 2006.
Tuesday 23 May
TRISTRAM AVE INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5:30am the following morning to allow for the removal of redundant road markings:
- Motorists to use Constellation Drive, Northcote Rd or Onewa Rd off-ramp as alternatives.
- However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work on this date, the above closure will be on 24 May 2006.
Sunday 21 May
NORTHCOTE ROAD INTERCHANGE
SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP - CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning to allow for barrier placement:
- Motorists to use Tristram Ave or Onewa Rd off-ramps as alternatives
- However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work on this date, the above closure will be on 22 May 2006.
Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
