Open day at the Chch WastewaterTreatment Plant

It's open day at the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant from 10am to 4pm, Sunday, 30 October. Entry to the guided tours is $2 through the treatment plant and Oxidation Pond wildlife reserve. There will also be two special speakers:
* Council's John Moore will speak about the Ocean Outfall project at 11am and again at 2pm, and
* Dr James Goff will speak about the potential hazards of a tsunami on the Christchurch coastline at 12pm and again at 1pm. All contributions will go to the Oxfam Water for Survival project in Ghana.
