25,000 plus expected in Upper Hutt on Saturday.
Over 25,000 people are expected in Upper Hutt for the 4th Spring Festival in Main Street. The event attracts
Entertainers and stall holders from around central New Zealand. New Zealand Idol judge Frankie Stevens
Will be the roving MC for the event that runs from 9am - 3pm.
A special attraction will be the belly dancing group performing during the day.
Another attraction over the weekend will be the 1st opening of Upper Hutt library on a Sunday from
11am - 3pm to coincide with the City Expo at Expressions.
The Council Chambers will also be open to display the Maori Carving that was recently installed.
