‘Friends of the Zoo’ Big Night Out!
Friday 28 January (5.30pm – 8.30pm)
Auckland Zoo’s first ‘Friends of the Zoo BIG NIGHT OUT’, a fabulous FREE evening of entertainment being offered this Friday 28 January, is just one of the many benefits of being a ‘Friend of the Zoo’.
The annual membership programme offers members unlimited daytime entry to the Zoo 364 days a year, and many other opportunities and benefits. By being members, singles, couples or families are also directly supporting the Zoo’s conservation work with native and exotic species.
‘Friends of the Zoo’ members coming to the BIG NIGHT OUT are able to bring one paying guest (to pay Normal Zoo Admission), though if their guest signs up on the night, their entry fee will go towards their membership cost. Memberships start as low as $60 (Adult Pass). Anyone interested in signing up or finding out more about ‘Friends of the Zoo’ membership options can contact Auckland Zoo Visitors’ Centre on (09) 360-3805 or visit www.aucklandzoo.co.nz
A great night out
‘Friends of the Zoo BIG NIGHT OUT’ is proudly supported by TV2, who’ll be bringing ‘friends’ ‘The Party Animals’ and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Hosts for the night will be the dynamic duo, Matt and Dayna from Studio 2.
The TV2 bus will welcome ‘friends’ with music and give-aways! Band ‘Chill Factor’ will get everybody grooving with their upbeat sounds. There’ll be free face painting, the opportunity to meet some of the stars of ‘The Zoo’ programme, and win awesome spot prizes, including the chance to go ‘Behind the Scenes’ on the night with a keeper. We may just also have some surprise guests show up! If you’re not a member, you might want to join up NOW.
