Auckland City calls for submissions on proposed Waiheke police station site
The public have the opportunity to have their say on proposed plan modification 47, which will earmark a Waiheke Island site for use as a new police station.
The proposed new police station at 104 Ocean View Road, Oneroa, will provide expanded police facilities, needed to meet demand created by Waiheke’s growing population and popularity as a tourism destination.
The proposed plan modification will be publicly notified on Sunday 22 January and will be available for viewing on www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/hgidistrictplan. Submissions close on Monday 21 February 2005.
The notification and the assessment of environmental effects can also be viewed during normal business hours at:
- City Planning, level 11, civic administration building, 1 Greys Ave, Auckland Central
- Waiheke community library, 2 Korora Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island
- Reference section, Auckland Central Library, 44-46 Lorne Street, Auckland Central.
