New council committee structure proposed
A report proposing a new committee structure will be considered by the new Auckland City Council at its meeting on 11 November.
In line with normal practice, the Deputy Mayor Dr Bruce Hucker developed the proposed structure, in consultation with the mayor, councillors and senior staff.
Dr Hucker will be holding a media briefing today (Monday 8 November) to answer questions about the proposed structure and the council’s objectives for each committee. The report is available online at www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/council/members/councilmeetings.
Please advise Susan McGregor (susan.mcgregor@aucklandcity.govt.nz) if you plan to attend.
