Transport Action Group to get new Chair
The Wellington transport ginger group TAG (Transport Action group) is to get a new chair following the resignation of Fran Wilde, who is standing as a candidate for the Wellington Regional Council.
Ms Wilde notified TAG of her resignation after she submitted her GWRC nomination, saying she did not think it appropriate to continue heading the group whilst running an election campaign. The resignation was accepted today at a meeting of TAG.
A new chair will be elected shortly.
