Tribalinks to Play Cathedral Square
Free Friday Lunchtime Concert, Cathedral Square, Friday September 19th, 12.15 to 1.15pm.
5 piece local band Tribalinks will perform this Friday 19th in Cathedral Square as part of the Free Friday Lunchtime Concert series.
Band members grew up listening to a wide variety of music, from pop and rock, to urban gospel, jazz and soul.
Tim Timbo plays bass guitar and keyboards and is a 3rd year student at the CPIT Jazz School. He has performed with Pacific Underground, Verse 2, Doug Caldwell and the Garden City Big Band.
Arona 'Ronabear' Vaele, is the drummer for Tribalinks. Also a student at the jazz school, Arona has performed with Jahmen and M31.
Guitarist and vocalist Andrew Sione is the director of the choir at SDA church, and he also plays keyboards.
Norman Vaele sings and plays guitar, and Mareko Vanilau on keyboards and vocals, has supported Salmonella Dub and Che fu.
