Road works on Ferrymead Bridge
Traffic on Ferrymead Bridge will be restricted to one lane in each direction from Tuesday 25 February as the Christchurch City Council carries out investigative drilling.
The restriction will be in place between 9am and 4pm. The work is expected to take a week.
The work is part of a geotechnical site investigation which will assist the City Council in finalising options for future upgrade or replacement of the bridge.
Motorists are advised to take care.
