Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

Northland: Cloudy overnight with light showers possible.

The north and west of the North Island from Auckland to Manawatu, also for the Central Plateau: Cloudy overnight with drizzly showers developing from Taranaki to Manawatu tomorrow.

Bay of Plenty, Gisborne to Wairarapa: Cloudy in Bay of Plenty but remaining mainly fine in the east.

Wellington: Cloud increasing overnight with showers becoming widespread tomorrow.

Nelson and Marlborough: Some rain about Nelsons western ranges but remaining mainly fine elsewhere.

South Island west coast: Cloudy overnight with patchy light rain south of the glaciers. Tomorrow rain more persistent with heavy falls south of the glaciers.

Canterbury: Fine weather overnight. Mild again tomorrow with high cloud but rain about the Alps.


Otago and Southland: Cloud increasing overnight with rain developing about the western ranges. Northwesterly gales in exposed areas tomorrow with rain becoming widespread.

Chatham Islands: Mainly fine overnight, cloudy tomorrow.
