Northland: Cloudy for the remainder of today with light showers possible.
The north and west of the North Island from Auckland to Manawatu, also for the Central Plateau: Mainly fine today but
cloudy periods from Wanganui southwards. Tomorrow cloudy with drizzly showers developing from Taranaki to Manawatu.
Bay of Plenty, Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine for the remainder of today but increasing cloud in Bay of Plenty
tomorrow.
Wellington: Mainly fine this evening but during tomorrow showers becoming widespread.
Nelson and Marlborough: Drizzle about Nelsons western ranges but fine elsewhere.
South Island west coast: Cloudy for the remainder of today with patchy light rain south of the glaciers. Tomorrow rain
more persistent with heavy falls south of the glaciers.
Canterbury: Fine for the remainder of today. Mild again tomorrow with high cloud but rain about the Alps.
Otago and Southland: Fine for the remainder of today. Northwesterly gales in exposed areas tomorrow with rain becoming
widespread.
Chatham Islands: Mainly fine for the remainder of today ,cloudy tomorrow.
