Weather Workshop: All Districts forecast for NZ
All Districts forecast from Weather Workshop:
The
Situation: A strong southwest should gradually ease over
mainland New Zealand today as a high pushes eastwards
into the
Tasman Sea. At the same time a weak front is
likely to work
northwards up the South Island. Strong,
disturbed
southwesterlies continue at the
Chatham's.
And now the forecast to midnight tonight:

mix of fine and cloudy periods
with a few light showers,
chiefly in the west. Southwest breezes.
BAY of
PLENTY/ROTORUA: Mainly fine with southwest winds. The odd
shower possible about the Kaimai's.

MANAWATU: Fine apart from cloudy periods. West to
northwest winds dying out later this
afternoon.
WELLINGTON: Fine with northerly breezes for
much of the day. Cloud
may increase later as winds turn

fine conditions. West
to northwest winds. A weak
southwest change may affect the Wairarapa
coast this
afternoon with the odd shower.

places. A southwest change
may spread a few brief
coastal showers to areas about and south of
Banks
Peninsula later this morning.

FIORDLAND: A mix of cloudy and fine periods
with a few
light showers at times. Southwest breezes.

gusty about the coast but
lighter inland.

only slowly.
THE OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW: Remaining light
