Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:
The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central high country and Bay of Plenty: Showers in most places with snow to the central plateau and Desert Road. From early tomorrow showers becoming confined to the main eastern ranges with skies clearing elsewhere.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers becoming confined to the coast tomorrow with fine periods inland. Gradually clearing from the south tomorrow.
Wellington: A few showers becoming confined to the east of the hills tomorrow morning then Becoming fine.
Nelson and the South Island west coast: Remaining showers clearing today otherwise fine. Cloudy periods south of the glaciers from later tomorrow.
Marlborough: Showers becoming confined to the coast this afternoon and clearing inland. Fine and frosty tomorrow.
Canterbury, Otago and Southland: Mostly fine and frosty inland. Remaining coastal showers clearing overnight but staying quite cloudy about Foveaux Strait.
Chatham Islands: Showers and southwesterlies.
