Weather Workshop: All Districts forecast for NZ

All Districts forecast from Weather Workshop:

The Situation: A Tasman Sea low is moving southeast and should
lie south of the South Island by midnight. An associated front
is expected to move onto the country during the day from the west.

And now the forecast to midnight tonight:

NORTHLAND, AUCKLAND COROMANDEL PENINSULA, BAY of PLENTY/ROTORUA
WAIKATO, WAITOMO, TAUMARANUI, TAIHAPE, TAUPO, TARANAKI,
WANGANUI, MANAWATU and WELLINGTON: Cloud thickening this morning.
A few showers at first then rain becoming widespread from this
afternoon. Heavy falls developing about the northern slopes of
Mt. Taranaki northward into parts of Waikato. Northerly winds
freshening this morning and becoming strong near Cook Strait.

GISBORNE, HAWKES BAY and WAIRARAPA: High cloud increasing.
A few falls of light rain from later this afternoon.
Northerly winds.

NELSON: Rain setting in this morning with heavy falls expected
about the northwest ranges. Northerly winds gusty at times.

MARLBOROUGH: Rain developing this morning with persistent falls
from afternoon. Northerly winds.

CANTERBURY: Cloudy skies. Rain developing and spreading to most
places by late afternoon. Northeast winds for most.
Southwesterlies spreading into south Canterbury tonight.

BULLER, WESTLAND and FIORDLAND: Rain spreading to most places
this morning. Heavy falls developing about Buller
and northern Westland. Northeasterlies easing this afternoon
and turning westerly south of Hokitika.

OTAGO and SOUTHLAND: A period of rain during the day easing to
showers later. Northerly winds turning westerly this afternoon
and southwesterly by tonight.

CHATHAM ISLANDS: Cloudy skies with showers becoming few and far
between as the day goes on. Northwest winds.

THE OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW: For the North Island, rain easing to
showers in western places and becoming fine in the east. Over
the South Island showers spreading north to reach Cook Strait
by evening. Snow likely to low levels in the south by the end
of the day but clearing along the west coast. At the Chathams
Islands, Wet and windy with northerlies to blow.
