Gisborne and Hawkes Bay: Long fine periods but a few showers also Likely.
Wairarapa and Wellington, also coastal Marlborough: Cloudy with showers. Fine spells increasing from the south later
today. Tomorrow, remaining showers clearing and becoming mainly fine.
Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast: Mostly fine weather.
Canterbury, Otago and inland Southland: Fine or becoming fine in most places today. Frosty inland tonight and fine again
tomorrow.
Coastal Southland and Stewart Island: A few light showers clearing today. Mainly fine tomorrow apart from a few cloudy
periods.
Chatham Islands: Rain at times easing to showers tomorrow.
