Wanganui to Wellington: High cloud thickening this evening with scattered rain developing later. Tomorrow, morning rain
easing to showers.
Gisborne to Wairarapa: High cloud for the remainder of today. Outbreaks of rain tomorrow.
Nelson: Cloudy. Outbreaks of rain for the remainder of today. Tomorrow, rain easing to showers from early morning.
The South Island west coast: Periods of rain.
For Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland: High cloud with rain about the alps spreading further east at times.
Drizzle developing tomorrow about the Otago and Southland coasts.
Chatham Islands: A mix of cloudy and fine periods.
