Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

North and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central plateau: Fine in most places. Showers slowly clearing from the eastern ranges tomorrow. Also a few showers north of Auckland at times.

Bay of Plenty: Showers about the eastern ranges otherwise fine.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also coastal Marlborough: Cloudy with light drizzly showers persisting.

Wellington: Showers becoming confined to the eastern ranges. Fine spells increasing elsewhere.

For Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast and Southland: Mostly fine and frosty. By the end of tomorrow cloud increasing south of the glaciers and about western Southland.

Canterbury and Otago: Fine and frosty inland, Coastal cloud and drizzle becoming confined to Canterbury tomorrow.

Chatham Islands: Showers continuing.
