Weather Workshop: All Districts forecast for NZ

Now the All Districts forecast from Weather Workshop:

The Situation: A low over the Chatham Islands is moving east. A southerly flow remains over the country today.

And now the forecast to midnight tonight:

NORTHLAND, AUCKLAND, COROMANDEL PENINSULA, WAIKATO, WAITOMO, TAUMARANUI and TARANAKI: A few showers about Auckland and Northland clearing this morning. Elsewhere mainly fine. Southwest winds. Becoming frosty tonight.

BAY of PLENTY/ROTORUA, TAIHAPE and TAUPO: Fine and frosty with southerly winds.

WANGANUI and MANAWATU: Any remaining showers clearing this morning and becoming mainly fine apart from a few cloudy periods. Southerly breezes.

GISBORNE, HAWKES BAY and WAIRARAPA: Further showers with southerly winds. Fine breaks increasing inland this afternoon.

WELLINGTON: Cloudy with a few showers at first and strong cold southerly winds. Slowly becoming fine throughout the day but a few light showers remain along the eastern ranges.

NELSON, BULLER, WESTLAND and FIORDLAND: Fine and frosty with light winds.

MARLBOROUGH and CANTERBURY: Becoming fine inland today. Frosty tonight. About the coast cloud and remaining showers slowly clearing. Southwest winds easing.

OTAGO and SOUTHLAND: Mainly fine inland today. About the coast A few light showers clearing. Becoming very frosty tonight. Southerly winds becoming light.

CHATHAM ISLANDS: Outbreaks of rain and southeast winds.

THE OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW: In the North Island showers continue about the east coast but mainly fine elsewhere. A few showers developing on the South Island west coast as a low forms near Fiordland but mostly dry everywhere else. At the Chatham Islands, showers and southeasterlies.
