Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.
For the north and west of the North
Island from Northland to
Manawatu, also for Bay of Plenty
and Central Plateau: A mix of
showers and fine periods.
Showers becoming isolated
to the west coast this
afternoon with long fine periods
developing elsewhere.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers about
Wairarapa
spreading further north this morning then
clearing in the
Wairarapa this evening.
For Wellington: Showers slowly clearing.
In Nelson: Becoming fine.
For the South Island west coast: Mainly fine at
first. Cloud
increasing south of the glaciers later with
rain spreading
in to Fiordland this evening.
For
Marlborough and Canterbury: Morning showers clearing and
becoming mostly fine.
In Otago and Southland: Becoming
fine and frosty inland this
morning but cloudy remaining
about the coast with a few showers.
For the Chatham Islands: A few showers.
