RARE Albino Wallaby Celebrates First Easter At Symbio Wildlife Park
There was something egg-stra special at Symbio Wildlife Park this Easter as one of its rarest residents, Olaf the albino wallaby joey, celebrated his very first Easter!
Born last year and named after the beloved snowman from Disney’s Frozen, Olaf has captured hearts with his snowy white fur, pink nose, and cheeky personality. Olaf has become a firm favourite with visitors young and old — and this Easter, he hopped into the spotlight like never before.
To mark the occasion, his favourite human 'Zookeeper Liz' surprised him and his kangaroo and wallaby friends with some very special Easter treats! While chocolate was off the menu (it’s not safe for wildlife!), Olaf was delighted to forage for some of his favourite treats.
“Olaf is such a unique wallaby and watching him experience his first Easter was a real joy,” said Marketing & Communications Manager for Symbio 'Brodie Meney'. “It’s a great way for us to encourage natural behaviours while celebrating the season with our guests.”
The Easter school holidays are the perfect time to meet Olaf and all of the animals at Symbio Wildlife Park. From Kangaroos to meerkats and monkeys, Little penguins to red pandas and more, there is something or everyone at Symbio Wildlife Park, even a splash park and adventure playground! It's Southern Sydney’s favourite Zoo!
Symbio Wildlife Park continues its mission to Educate – Inspire – Preserve, using moments like Olaf’s Easter celebration to raise awareness for wildlife, and create unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages.
For those wanting to meet Olaf in person, he can be found in the park’s walk-through Kangaroo & Wallaby Enclosure — they are open every day this long weekend from 9.30am – 5.00pm!
