Airport, 35km south of the state capital of Gangtok. Connecting to other major cities in India, the new airport will
make travel to Sikkim a lot easier as the closest airport was previously a 5-hour drive away. Sikkim is bordered by
Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal and being part of the Himalayas, is home to India’s highest mountain, glaciers, alpine meadows
and picturesque hilltop monasteries. Sikkim also has the distinction of being the first state in India to be fully
