APEC Trade Ministers Issue Statement
Issued by the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, 26 May 2018 – Trade Ministers from the APEC member economies issued a statement following their meeting in Port Moresby on Saturday.
The statement reflects the outcomes of the 2018 APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting chaired by Papua New Guinea Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Rimbink Pato. It addresses the following areas:
• Improving Connectivity and Deepening Regional Economic Integration
• Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Growth
• Strengthening Inclusive Growth Through Structural Reform
• Strengthening Economic and Technical Cooperation
