SUVA (Motibhai Group/Pacific Media Watch): Fiji’s oldest and most trusted newspaper is moving ahead with digital media integration following the successful launch of an app for smart devices.
The Fiji Times – a Motibhai Group company since replacing Rupert Murdoch's News Limited in 2010 – is now all set to serve its worldwide readers with yet another medium which will make news much accessible to its ever-increasing loyal reader base.
“Friends, The Fiji Times e-edition is now well established. This is now supported by the launch of our mobile app for both Androids and iPhone,” Fiji Times general manager Hank Arts wrote in an email to various stakeholders.
“Enjoy news on the run, wherever and whenever you wish. Live from around 3am worldwide, and for the next couple of months, for no fee.
“During the first half of 2018 there will be a subscription requirement, but at a very low cost of just FJ$100 per annum. Try it please and any feedback and or suggestions would be most appreciated,” Arts said.
