Early Morning:
More than 90 people in dire need of prompt medical assistance, some with dysentery & other water related diseases. @ManusAlert
HIGHLY SALINE WATER CAUSING NUMEROUS DISEASES IN THE EX_MRPC. As the whole world knows we are extracting drinking water from the dug out holes, very close to the seashore. As a result of the closeness to the sea, the water is hard and impregnated with salt. A number of people have fallen victims to dysentery and other water related diseases because of the use of unhygienic contaminated ground water. More than ninety people are in a dire need of prompt medical assistance in this regard. We appeal to the organization Doctors Sans Frontier to come forward and intervene in the deteriorating situation on the Humanitarian grounds as soon as possible to relieve the people in need of medical care.
