Speaking Out Against The Terrorist Attacks in Paris, France
Speaking Out Against The Terrorist Attacks in Paris, France
NORMAN, OKLAHOMA – Yesterday, the city of Paris was rocked by the sounds of bombs and gunshots, hundreds of innocent lives were lost to the international threat of terrorism. With the rise of Islamic terrorism including Da’ish (The Islamic State), and other forms of terrorism across the globe, these attacks are becoming all too common.
The Holocaust Remembrance and Restitution Foundation condemns in the strongest terms these despicable, disgusting and intolerable acts against the free peoples of France.
As this crime against humanity has shaken the entire continent of Europe and the world, we stand by the side of each and every victim, and their families in Paris. May your hearts be healed, and may we gather together to destroy those who have committed this crime. We believe that crimes like these start with intolerance in society, from intolerance comes evil, from evil comes crimes against humanity.
We will continue to monitor the situation and advocate to the governments of Oklahoma and the United States to send whatever aid and support possible to help and support the victims who were attacked and any other necessary aid.
Most of all, we send our heartfelt condolences and we open our arms to the people of France. We know all too well the personal emotional trauma of these acts. Oklahoma City also knows the pain of large scale terrorism since the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing which ravaged Oklahoma families. We will always pray for Paris!
