•Dozens of Palestinian Civilians Killed or Wounded as Israeli Forces Attack Apartment Buildings, Mosques, Hospitals and Schools;
•White Phosphorous Bombs and Flechette Shells Fired by Israeli Forces in Border Areas;
•More Palestinians Forcibly Displaced in Border Areas
Since the Beginning of the Israeli Offensive on Gaza:
•596 Palestinians Killed, of Whom 486 Are Civilians, Including 151 Children and 85 Women, and 3,179 Others Wounded, Mostly Civilians, Including 926 Children and 641 Women;
•469 Houses Targeted and Destroyed and Hundreds of Others Extensively Damaged
•Thousands of Palestinian Civilians Forcibly Displaced
Israeli occupation forces have continued their brutal and immoral offensive on the Gaza Strip for the 15th consecutive day, and have continued the policy of collective punishment in disregard for the international law and humanitarian law, which ensure protection for civilians in times of war, and in violation of the principles of necessity, proportionality and distinction. Israeli forces have continued their aerial, ground and sea attacks throughout the Gaza Strip, causing more civilian casualties and damaging civilian facilities, including houses and mosques. Israeli forces escalated their attacks throughout the Gaza Strip. They attacked apartment buildings, houses, hospitals, mosques and shelters of displaced person. Israeli forces used white phosphorous bombs against al-Shuja’iya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in the east of Gaza City, and fired Flechette shells in other areas. Israeli forces continued their incursions in several areas in the Gaza Strip, and more Palestinian civilians were forced to leave their homes in border areas.
From 10:00 on Monday, 21 July 2014 to 10:00 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, 104 Palestinians, 80 of whom are civilians, including 22 children and 16 women, were killed. Additionally, 376 Palestinians, mostly civilians, were wounded – this number includes 104 children and 69 women. Israeli warplanes also targeted and destroyed 44 houses.
The latest developments since the press release issued by PCHR yesterday noon have been as follows:
The Northern Gaza Strip:
Israeli warplanes launched 40 airstrikes and Israeli tanks and gunboats fired dozens of shells targeting houses, a hospital, an UNRWA shelter agricultural plots, and open areas. As a result of these attacks, 8 Palestinians, including 7 civilians, were killed – the civilian victims include 2 children and 2 women. Additionally, 125 Palestinians, including 35 children and 25 women, were wounded. Israeli warplanes bombarded 20 houses and destroyed 7 of them.
The most significant attacks were as follows:
- At approximately 13:20 on Monday, 21 July 2014, Israeli warplanes bombarded a house belonging to the al-Yazji family at al-Karama intersection in the west of Jabalya. As a result, Wajdi Mahmoud ‘Ali al-Yazji, 54; his wife Safinaz Nabil al-Yazji, 50; and his grandchildren, Yasmeen Nayef al-Yazji, 4, and Hatem Zain Nayef al-Yazji, 3, were killed. Four members of the family were also wounded and the house was heavily damaged.
- At approximately 14:00, a civil defense crew survived an Israeli attack in a-Boura area in the northeast of Beit Hanoun.
- At approximately 17:00, medical crews were able to evacuate the body of ‘Arab Sultan Mohammed Ma’rouf, 72, from al-Ghoboun area in Beit Lahia. He was wounded in the morning, but medical crews were not able to reach him because of the presence of Israeli forces in the area.
- At approximately 17:10, an Israeli drone fired a missile at ‘Atiya Nasser Hussein Dardouna, 26, when he was walking in al-Salam neighborhood in Jabalya. He was instantly killed.
- At approximately 18:45, an Israeli infantry unit opened fire at an UNRWA shelter of displaced family in Beit Hanoun. As a result, Mahdiya Nafez Jarad, 38, was wounded by a bullet to the right forearm.
- At approximately 21:00, medical sources at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City declared that Mohammed ‘Abdul ‘Aziz Eshtaiwi, 27, a member of Palestinian armed group, from Um al-Nasser village, died of wounds he had sustained on Saturday, 19 July 2014, during an armed clash with Israeli forces.
- At approximately 01:30 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, 3 ambulances of Palestine Red Crescent were attacked by Israeli forces when they were near the industrial zone in Beit Hanoun. Israeli forces fired a number of shells near the ambulances. As a result, a Palestinian civilian who was being evacuated by the ambulances was wounded by shrapnel to the chest, and the ambulances were damaged.
- At approximately 02:00, an Israeli infantry unit, supported by dozens of tanks and bulldozers, moved nearly 1,500 meters into the southeast of Beit Hanoun. Armed clashes erupted between them and Palestinian armed groups.
- At approximately 02:30, Israeli tanks fired a number of shells at the garden of Beit Hanoun Hospital. As a result, Bilal Mohammed al-Sabe’, 34, was wounded, and the building was damaged.
- At approximately 08:10, Israeli forces fired a number of smoke shells at Beit Hanoun Hospital. One of the shells landed in front of the emergency department, and fire broke out in the main entrance of the administration building.
- At approximately 09:00, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a house belonging to Ra’ed al-Haw in Jabalya refugee camp. As a result, a neighbor, Leila ‘Abbas Ismail al-Wehaidi, was killed. Eight residents of the house were also wounded.
- Israeli warplanes and tanks bombarded 20 houses in various areas in the northern Gaza Strip. Seven of these houses were completely destroyed, while the remaining 13 one were partially destroyed.
Gaza City:
Israeli warplanes launched dozens of airstrikes and Israeli gunboats and tanks fired shells targeting houses, a mosque, agricultural lands and open areas. As a result of these attacks, 46 Palestinians, including 43 civilians were killed – the civilian victims include 13 children and 12 women. Additionally, 39 Palestinians, including 9 children and 6 women, were wounded. Four houses and 6 floors of a 10-storey building were also destroyed.
The most significant attacks in Gaza City were as follows:
- At approximately 11:00 on Monday, 21 July 2014, Israeli warplanes launched 2 missiles at a 4-storey house belonging to Hussein Rushdi al-Nakhala, 65. Al-Nakhala’s wife, Sa’eda Thabet al-Nalkhala, 54, and his son, Mahmoud, 18, were killed. The house was destroyed.
- Also at approximately 11:00, Israeli warplanes launched 2 missiles at a house belonging to the Hamdiya family in al-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City. As a result, 8 Palestinian civilians were killed: ‘Aa’ed Jamal ‘Atiya Hamdiya, 22; Mo’taz Jamal ‘Atiya Hamdiya, 25; Yousef ‘Atiya ‘Atiya Hamdiya, 22; Ra’ed ‘Essam Saleem Dawod, 37; Rahma Ahmed Sofian Jundiya, 58; Mahran Kamel Jundiya, 32; Tamer Nayef Jundiya, 32; and Bakroun Ibrahim Sofian Bakroun, 35.
- At approximately 12:00, an Isreali drone fired a missile at the door of a house belonging to the family of Wissam Mohammed Kamel Mas’oud, 25, in al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City. Mas’oud was killed.
- At approximately 12:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Saleh Mohammed Saleh Badawi, 29, a member of a Palestinian armed group, in al-Zaytoun neighborhood. He was instantly killed.
- Also at approximately 12:30, medical crews recovered the bodies of Mohammed Ahmed Sa’ad Abu Hajar, 22, and Haroun ‘Awadh Wasfi Harara, 23, who were killed by an Israeli airstrike on 18 July 2014.
- At approximately 13:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Mohammed Khamis al-Ghalban, 23, a member of a Palestinian armed group, in al-Sha’af neighborhood, killing him.
- At approximately 14:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at al-Tuffah neighborhood in the east of Gaza City. As a result, Hussam Mohammed Hussein al-Koulak, 19.
- At approximately 15:30, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a house belonging to Yasser Khader al-Qassas in Gaza City. As a result, 10 Palestinian civilians were killed: Sumaya Mohammed Nasser al-Qassas, 32; Islam Yasser Khader al-Qassas, 15; Arwa Yasser Khader al-Qassas, 4; Samar Yasser Khader al-Qassas, 3; Israa’ Yasser Khader al-Qassas, 7; Faiza Saber Ahmed Siam, 68; ‘Alyaa’ Fadel Yousef Siam, 32; Nisma Eyad Sa’di al-Qassas, 10; Lamya’ Sa’di al-Qassas, 12; and Mohammed Eyad Sa’di al-Qassas, 4.
- At approximately 20:30, Israeli warplanes launched 2 missiles at al-Salah 10-storey building in the center of Gaza City. As the result the upper 6 floors were destroyed and 10 Palestinian civilians were killed: Ibrahim Dib Ahmed al-Kilani, 54; Taghreed Ibrahim al-Kilani, 54; Yasser Ibrahim Dib al-Kilani, 7; Swasan Ibrahim Dib al-Kilani, 11; Reem Ibrahim Dib al-Kilani, 12; Elias Ibrahim Dib al-Kilani, 4; ‘Aaida Ibrahim al-Kilani, 47; Mahmoud Ibrahim al-Kilani, 39; Inas Ibrahim al-Kilani, 30; and Soura Ibrahim al-Kilani, 39.
- Also at approximately 20:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Mussa’ed ‘Abdul Qader Khaled Yousef, 24, in al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, killing him.
- At approximately 22:00, medical sources declared that ‘Abdul Rahman Mohammed ‘Abdul Fattah ‘Abdul ‘Aal, 23, died of wounded he sustained when Israeli warplanes bombarded his family’s house a few days ago.
- At approximately 23:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the entrance of a house belonging to Wa’el Jamal Fahmi Harb, 41, in al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Harb was instantly killed.
- At approximately 00:05 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 3-storey house belonging to Hassan Khader Hassan Bakr, 57. One minute later, an Israeli warplane bombarded the house. Bakr was killed and 3 members of the family were wounded, while the house was destroyed.
- At approximately 00:35, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Ahmed Ameen Abu Hassira, 30, a member of a Palestinian armed group. He was instantly killed.
- At approximately 06:50, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a house belonging to the ‘Azzam family in al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City. As a result, 2 women were killed: Fatema Hassan ‘Awad ‘Azzam, 70; and Miriam Hassan ‘Awad ‘Azzam, 50. The house was also destroyed.
- At approximately 07:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile behind the National Hospital in the center of Gaza City. As a result, Suhail Sa’id Shihda Jalu, 45, was killed.
- At approximately 07:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the entrance of a house belonging to Mohammed Ahmed ‘Abdul Rahman ‘Ammar, killing him.
- At approximately 08:30, medical sources declared that Mahmoud Ahmed Thabet al-Qassas, 10, died of wounds he sustained during the Israeli intensive shelling of al-Shuja’iya neighborhood on 20 July 2014.
- At approximately 09:00, medical sources declared that Rami Fathi ‘Ayad, 30, died of wounds he sustained during the Israeli intensive shelling of al-Shuja’iya neighborhood on 20 July 2014.
- At approximately 10:00, medical sources declared that En’am Mohammed Suleiman al-‘Otaiwi, 65, died of wounds she sustained during the Israeli intensive shelling of al-Shuja’iya neighborhood on 20 July 2014.
- In the early morning, Israeli warplanes bombarded and destroyed al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque in al-Wihda Street.
The Central Gaza Strip:
Israeli warplanes launched 15 airstrikes and tanks fired dozens of shells targeting houses, a hospital, a mosque, agricultural lands and open areas. As a result of these attacks, 14 Palestinian civilians, including 3 children and 2 women, were killed, and 70 others, including 17 women and 15 children, were wounded. Six houses were destroyed.
The most significant attacks were as follows:
- At approximately 13:50 on Monday, 21 July 2014, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at an uninhabited house belonging to Mohammed Sukkar. The house was destroyed.
- At approximately 14:40, Israeli tanks fired a number of shells at the third floor of al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. As a result, 3 patients and companions were killed: Khaled ‘Awadh Ahmed Bayoumi, 34; ‘Alaa’ ‘Abdul Majid Abu Dahrouj, 17; and Zakaria Ibrahim Shakshak, 29. Another 40 Palestinians were wounded, and the building and a number of ambulances were damaged.
- Also at approximately 14:40, as number of shells hit Sakina School in Deir al-Balah, damaging it.
- At approximately 15:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at an uninhabited 3-storey house belonging to Iman Mohammed Nasser in al-Zawaida village. The house was damaged.
- At approximately 17:45, an Israeli drone fired a missile at 2-storey house belonging to Majed Ismail Abu Swaireh, in which 7 people live, in al-Nussairat refugee camp. As a few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- At approximately 18:20, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a 4-storey house belonging to Hassan Ibrahim Abu Nar, in which 45 people live. The house was partially destroyed.
- At approximately 18:40, Israeli drones fired 2 missiles at ‘Othman Salem ‘Abdul Majid Burai’em, 18, and Fadi ‘Azmi ‘Abdul Majid Burai’em, 18, when they were near their houses in Wadi al-Salqa village, east of Deir al-Balah. Both civilians were killed. A few minutes later, the Israeli drones fired another missile at Ibrahim ‘Olayan Burai’em, 65, and Salem ‘Abdul Majid Burai’em, 45.
- At approximately 21:50, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at an uninhabited house belonging to the heirs of ‘Aadel Abu Sha’ban in Deir al-Balah. The house was completely destroyed.
- At approximately 01:00 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 3-storey house belonging to Mohammed Khalil Mousa, in which 17 people live. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- At approximately 01:50, an Israeli drone fired a missile at ‘Abdullah Ismail ‘Omar al-Buhaissi, 26, when he was on the roof of his house in Deir al-Balah. He was instantly killed.
- At approximately 03:50, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at al-Abrar Mosque in Deir al-Balah and destroyed it.
- At approximately 04:00, Israeli drones fired 2 missiles at a house belonging to the al-Rumahi family in Wadi al-Salqa village, east of Deir al-Balah. As a result, 3 members of the family were killed: Yousef Ibrahim ‘Aayesh al-Rumahi, 21; and his sisters, Iman, 14, and Ibtihal, 4.
- At approximately 04:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Mohammed Nasser Haroun, 28, when he was in the balcony of his house in al-Nussairat refugee camp.
- At approximately 06:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a house belonging to the Abu Munifi family in Wadi al-Salqa village, east of Deir al-Balah. As a result, Salwa ‘Abdul ‘Aziz Abu Munifi, 49, and her daughter, Sameera Sanad Abu Munifi, 18, were killed. Two members of the family were also wounded and the house was damaged.
Khan Yunis:
Israeli warplanes launched 35 airstrikes targeting houses, agricultural plots, open areas and a police station in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Yunis. Israeli tanks also fired dozens of shells at agricultural and open areas. As a result, 24 Palestinians, including 10 civilians, were killed. Another civilian died of previous wounds. Additionally, 110 Palestinians, including 12 women and 27 children, were wounded. Israeli warplanes also targeted 9 houses and destroyed 6 of them. They also destroyed a police station.
The most significant attacks were as follows:
- At approximately 12:25 on Monday, 21 July 2014, an Israeli drone fired 5 missiles and tanks fired a number of shells at 22 houses belonging to the al-Mughrabi family, agricultural plots and civilian gatherings in al-Zanna area, east of Khan Yunis. As a result, 7 members of Palestinian armed groups were killed, and 10 persons were wounded, 3 of them died of their wounds later: ‘Abdul Rahman al-Qarra; Ibrahim As’ad al-Qarra, 24; Karam Ibrahim ‘Atiya Burhom, 25; Nidal ‘Ali Mohammed Abu Daqqa, 26; Nidal Jum’a Mohammed Abu ‘Aassi, 43; Mohammed Mahmoud ‘Abdul Hamid al-Mughrabi, 23; Mohammed ‘Abed Rabbu al-Qarra, 23; Mohammed ‘Abdul Karim al-Masri, 22; Jihad Mahmoud ‘Abdul Hamid al-Mughrabi, 22; and Ahmed ‘Abdul Hamid Ahmed al-Mughrabi, 40.
- At approximately 13:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a house belonging to ‘Emad Hussein Abu Sbha in Khan Yunis refugee camp. A few minutes later, and Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house, but it did not explode.
- At approximately 13:45, an Israeli drone fired a missile at tanks fired a number of shells at a house in al-Qarara village. As a result, Mohammed Ibrahim Saleem Abu Haddaf, 23, was killed.
- Also at approximately 13:45, an Israeli drone fired a missile at al-Qarara police station and destroyed it.
- At approximately 14:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the garden of Nasser Hospital. No casualties were reported.
- At approximately 14:10, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the third floor of a house belonging to Sami Shurrab in the center of Khan Yunis. The floor was destroyed and a person was wounded.
- At approximately 14:15, medical sources declared that Mohammed Na’im Mohammed Abu Lihya, 27, died of wounds he sustained by Israeli forces in al-Qarara village on 19 July 2014.
- At approximately 14:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Mohammed Nasser Yassin al-Astal, 23, when he was near his house. As a result, he and 6 children were wounded.
- At approximately 15:20, Israeli drones fired 2 missiles at members of a Palestinian armed group in Ma’an area, killing 2 of them: Mujahed Waleed Hassan al-‘Aqqad, 20; and Mohammed Hafez Ragheb al-Zaini, 25.
- At approximately 17:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Zakria Suleiman Abu Daqqa, 63, as he was checking his evacuated house in ‘Abassa village, east of Khan Yunis. As a result, he was wounded. He bled to death.
- At approximately 17:30, Israeli warplanes launched 3 airstrikes and tanks fired a number of shells at 6 Palestinian civilians who were loading chicken from a farm in al-Qarra village. They were all wounded. One of them was able to leave the area, while 2 others bled to death: Sameh Zuhair Helmi al-Swafiri, 26, from Gaza City; and Mohammed Mousa Ibrahim Fayadh, 34.
- At approximately 19:35, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a motorbike that was attempting to evacuate a wounded Palestinian to the hospital in al-Qarara village. As a result, the driver, Mazen Na’im Hassan ‘Abdul Ghafour, 39, was wounded, while the already wounded person, Fadi Bashir al-‘Abadla, 22, a member of Palestinian armed group, was killed.
- At approximately 19:45, Israeli tanks fired a shell at a house belonging to Younis Abu Tair in ‘Abassan village. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- In the evening, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the upper floor of a house belonging to the Abu Mustafa family in ‘Abassan village. The house was damaged.
- At approximately 23:50, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a house belonging to the al-Ghalban family in Ma’an area, destroying it.
- At night, Israeli warplanes launched 5 airstrikes on various areas in Khan Yunis. As a result, 5 Palestinian civilians were wounded.
- At approximately 00:00 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a house belonging to Mahmoud Suleiman Mahmoud Abu Sabha, 59, in which 12 people live. As a result, Abu Sabha was killed, and his brother and 5 of his children were wounded.
- At approximately 01:45, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a 2-storey house belonging to Saleh ‘Ouda Mahmoud Salama in al-Amal neighborhood in the west of Khan Yunis. As a result, Slama’s son, Mos’ab, 18, was killed, and 6 members of the family, including a child, were wounded. The house was destroyed.
- In the morning, Israeli tanks positioned east of Khan Yunis fired dozens of shells at houses and agricultural lands. A number of Palestinian civilians were wounded.
- At approximately 06:30, Israeli tanks positioned east of Khan Yunis fired dozens of shells at Bani Suhaila village. As a result, Naji Jamal al-Fujom, 26, was killed.
- At approximately 07:20, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 4-storey house belonging to ‘Abdul Nasser Abu Tu’aima in ‘Abassan village. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- At approximately 07:30, medical crews were able to evacuate the body of Mohammed Ahmed ‘Abdul Karim Abu Jame’, 23, and 6 wounded Palestinian civilians, as Israeli tanks shelled the vicinity of Abu Huraira Mosque in Bani Suhaila.
- At approximately 07:35, Israeli warplanes launched 3 missiles at a house belonging to Mahmoud ‘Abdul Rahman al-Najjar, in which 12 people live, in Khuza’a village, east of Khan Yunis. The house was destroyed.
Rafah:
Israeli warplanes launched 19 airstrikes and Israeli tanks fired dozens of shells targeting houses and agricultural lands in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah. As a result, 8 Palestinians (4 members of armed groups and 4 children), were killed, and 32 others, including 18 children and 9 women, were wounded. Five houses and a mosque were also destroyed. Israeli tanks also fired a number of Flechette shells at a cemetery in al-Junaina neighborhood.
The most significant attacks were as follows:
- At approximately 11:00 on Monday, 21 July 2014, medical sources declared that Rezeq Nayef Abu ‘Edwan, 34, a member of a Palestinian armed group, died of wounds he sustainer ear
- At approximately 11:30, medical sources declared that Ameen Ayman Siam, 17, died of wounds he stained earlier in the morning when Israeli warplanes bombarded his family’s house. Nine members of the family were killed and 10 others were wounded in the attack.
- At approximately 14:20, Israeli forces fired a number of artillery shells at al-Salam neighborhood in the south of Rafah. As a result, 3 Palestinian civilians were wounded, and one of them, Eyad Mohammed Sabbah, 17, died of his wound a few hours later.
- At approximately 14:30, Israeli forces fired a number of Flechette shells at the Martyrs Cemetery in al-Junaina neighborhood. As a result, 3 Palestinian civilians were wounded and a number of graves were destroyed.
- At approximately 14:40, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at an agricultural plot in al-Hashash neighborhood in the north of Rafah. No casualties were reported.
- At approximately 18:20, Israeli forces fired a number of artillery shells at houses in al-Tannour neighborhood in the south of Rafah. As a result, Fatema Ahmed al-‘Arja, 14, was killed and 10 others were wounded.
- At approximately 19:00, medical crews evacuated bodies of 3 members of Palestinian armed groups from al-Shouka village, southeast of Rafah, as they were killed during armed confrontations with Israeli forces. They were identified as: Mohammed Fares al-Hamaida, 23; Mahmoud ‘Atiya al-Hamaida, 24; and Mohammed Mohammed al-Bakri, 23.
- At approximately 20:10, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a house belonging to the al-Nawasra family in al-Nasser village, north of Rafah. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- At approximately 02:40 on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, an Israeli drone launched a missile at a motorbike in Badr camp in the west of Rafah. As a result, a member of a Palestinian armed group who was riding it was seriously wounded.
- At approximately 04:00, an Israeli drone fired a missile at al-Farouq Mosque in al-Shaboura refugee camp. A few minutes later, Israeli warplanes launched 2 missiles at the mosque and destroyed it. A number of nearby houses were extensively damaged. Before the attack, Israeli forces had phoned a Palestinian civilian living near the mosque ordering evacuating it and nearby houses.
- At approximately 05:00, medical sources declared that Mo’in Mohammed Siam, 5, died of wounds he stained on Monday, 21 July 2014, when Israeli warplanes bombarded his family’s house. Ten members of the family were killed and 10 others were wounded in the attack.
- At approximately 05:05, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 2-storey house belonging to Fu’ad ‘Eid al-Nahhal, a leader of Hamas, in which 11 people live, in Kherabt al-Asas neighborhood in the north of Rafah. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it. Before the attack, Israeli forces had phones a neighbor ordering evacuation of the house.
- At approximately 05:20, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 2-storey house belonging to Mohammed ‘Abed Abu Jouda, in which 18 people live, in al-Nasser village, northeast of Rafah. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.

- At approximately 05:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a house belonging to Nasser Suleiman al-Bayouk, in which 11 people live, in al-Nasser village, northeast of Rafah. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
- At approximately 06:30, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a 2-storey house belonging to Badriya Mustafa al-Bayouk, in which 22 people live, in al-Nasser village, northeast of Rafah. A few minutes later, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at the house and destroyed it.
PCHR reiterates condemnation, expresses utmost concern for these crimes, and:
1) Warns of deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip in light of this continuous Israeli military escalation, threats to expand military operations, and the continued tightened closure of the Gaza Strip;
2) Calls upon the international community to act immediately to stop these crimes, and renews the call to the High Contracting Parties of the Fourth Geneva Convention to fulfill their obligation under Article 1 of the Convention to ensure that it is respected at all times, and their responsibilities under Article 146 to pursue perpetrators of serious violations of the Convention, which are determined in Article 147, which lists violations of the Convention amounting to war crimes; and
3) Calls for establishing a UN fact-finding mission to investigate suspected war crimes committed by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, and take necessary steps to prosecute responsible for them.
