World Trade Organization - Information Centre: Weekly Round-up / New Zealand, US file disputes against Indonesia on imports of agricultural products
Director-General Roberto Azevêdo took part in a
debate at the OECD Forum on “The Future of Trade” on 6
May. He also attended an informal ministerial meeting hosted
by Australia in Paris and gave the opening address at WTO
Geneva Week, an event dedicated to WTO members without
permanent representation in Geneva.
Next week, the General
Council meets on Monday. DG Azevêdo visits Berlin and
Seoul, and attends an APEC trade ministers meeting in
China.

ZEALAND, US FILE DISPUTES AGAINST INDONESIA ON IMPORTS OF
AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
New Zealand and the United States
notified the WTO Secretariat, on 8 May
2014, of a request for consultations with Indonesia concerning measures imposed by Indonesia on the importation of horticultural products, animals and animal
products into the country.
