HRU: Sick Female Prisoners suffering in Israeli Jails

The Human Rights Unit (HRU) of the Interior Ministry advises that the Israeli occupation is still detaining 13
Palestinian women in Hasharon Prison. They continue suffering despite mass media and international organizations, which
supposedly defend the rights of women and monitor violations against them all over the world, being aware of their
plight but making no response to end assaults on their rights.
The following is a report obtained by the Human Rights Unit at the Ministry of Interior and National Security, showing
the names of female prisoners in Israeli Jails and their circumstances .
1- Lena Mohammed Saleh Jerboni, 34,from Araba Buttof in Occupied territories of 1948, has been sentenced to 17 years
since 2004, charged with of helping resistance men .She suffers from swelling in her feet and severe head pain, and she
underwent gall bladder surgery inside prison. Israeli occupation refused to release her in exchange deals concluded in
2011.
2- Inam Abdul – Jabbar Alhassnat, 30, from Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem. She has been imprisoned since 2012 and was
sentenced to two years in prison with a fine of 1000 NIS for allegedly trying to stab a settler near a checkpoint .
3- Nawal Saadi, 56, from Jenin, a mother of five children. She has beed detained since 2012, without connviction to
date. She suffers from high blood pressure and constant fatigue. She was accused providing funds for terrorist groups.
4- Mona Ka'adan , 42, from Arraba in Jenin, she was arrested several times and was last captured in 2012 and charged
with smuggling funds to a hostile organization . She lost her mother while being in Hasharon prison.
5-Intissar Alssayyad, 38, from Alzaitoon mountain in Jerusalem .She was detained in 2013 and sentenced to 30 months on a
charge of attempting to stab a settler .She is the mother of four sons.
6- Alaa Mohammed Qassem, 22 , from Assira in Nablus .She is a university student .She was captured near a checkpoint
when she was going to university. She was sentenced to two years.
7- Nahil Talal Abu Aisha, 23, from Hebron. She was arrested near Alharm AL-Ibrahimy in 2013 and charged with trying to
stab a settler, but is yet to be convicted.
8- Inam Kanmbo of African origin, 44, from Jerusalem .She is currently detained for participating in a march denouncing
the martyrdom of captive Mayssara Abu Hamdiya due to medical negligence in Israeli prisons.
9-Tahrir Algueni, 2, from Kofr Kalil in Nablus .She is currently detained in Hasharon Prison since her arrest in 2013.
10- Donia Dirar, 27, from Tolkarem. She was arrested in 2013. Her family is forbidden family visits. She suffers from
diabetes and high blood pressure. She was arrested in 2013 without any charges against her.
11- Linan Abo Ghalma, 32, form Beit Forik village in Nablus .She was sentenced to two years in prison.
12- Mayssara Attyyani, 49, from Nablus .She was detained in 2013 and sentenced to 3 months with a fine of 2000 NIS .She
is an activist for palestinan prisoners.
13-Ayat Mahfouz, 20, from Hebron .She was arrested in 2013 near Alharm AL-Ibrahimy on the charge of carrying a knife.
