Al-Khudari demands land, sea and air access for Gaza

The Popular Committee Against the Siege  on Thursday demanded the Israeli occupation open all commercial crossings with the Gaza Strip.

Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the Committee, said at a press conference in front of Al-Muntar crossing, which has been closed for seven years, "We call on opening all the crossings for import and export, without the ban list."

The Committee demanded opening safe passage between Gaza and the West Bank, including sea access connecting Gaza with the world, and the reconstruction and operation of the  Gaza International Airport.

Gaza has been suffering from a suffocating Israeli siege since Hamas won the elections in 2006, and the crisis was exacerbated after Egyptian authorities destroyed the tunnels in recent months.
