bridge.
In addition, Mykola Kostyak said: "During my working period, starting in 2010, I hand over the second bridge. The first
bridge between Odessa and Kherson, which construction had lasted 9 years, we were able to complete in a short period of
time. The second one you see yourself now. I am sure that there will be the third bridge - between Tavriyskiy
micro-district and Zalaeherseh Street, which will connect the housing estate of Kherson with its centre."
There Is a Record in Kherson Region - the Biggest Watermelon in Ukraine Weighing More Than 25 kg
Deputy Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykhaylo Melnyk on Saturday visited the tenth anniversary festival
"Ukrainian watermelon - sweet miracle" that took place in the town Hola Prystan and collected hundreds of guests from
across the country and abroad.
Residents and visitors were able to see the Holiday Fair, to become participants of the competition of giant
watermelons, melons, pumpkins, to enjoy mead, candied fruit, boiled pumpkin and melon, various vegetables, bakery
products, as well as to satisfy their aesthetic tastes on the exhibition of applied arts.
The new Ukrainian record, which is listed in the registry records of our country is the biggest watermelon weighing 25
kilograms 100 grams, moreover, the largest melon was 9 kg and 200 grams and pumpkins - more than 40 kg.

home stretch." Regarding the schools and kindergartens, the head of the region said that the preparation of schools is
completed by 92%.

There was the final stage of children's art festival "Tavriyska Khvylya" on Saturday in Skadovsk; it began with a
festive carnival procession, which was attended by the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak
together with his deputies, the chairman of the regional council Viktor Pelykh and Commissioner for the President for
Children's Rights Yuriy Pavlenko.
"There are many talented kids in our Tavrian land and I'm sure we need to help them, to create all the conditions for
the children to show their abilities, not only within our region and beyond Ukraine, so this festival was created," -
said Mykola Kostyak.
Kherson Director Received a Grant of the President of Ukraine
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych since July 30, 2013 261/2013 "On the nomination of grants by
the President of Ukraine to young leaders in the field of theatre, music, visual arts, as well as young writers and
masters of folk art to create and implement creative projects" the grant of the President of Ukraine in the field of
theatre arts was assigned to Vladyslava Bilozorenko - production director for staging the play "Svichchyne Vesillya"
based on the play of Ivan Kocherha at the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after Mykola Kulish,
in the amount of 92 thousand UAH.
