Geography of Flights That the Airport "Kherson" Serves Increases
According to the acting director of the E "Kherson Airlines" of Kherson Regional Council Yaroslav Agafonov, airport
"Kherson" operates normally.
In addition, the geography of flights that are served by the airport "Kherson" gradually increases. Currently, the
airport carries international charter flights to London, Istanbul, Vienna, among Ukrainian cities - Lviv, Sevastopol.
Agreement on Establishing Regular Flights From the Airport "Kherson" Are Reached
Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak and the Head of the Regional Council Viktor Pelykh held a
working meeting at the airport "Kherson"with the President of SC "Motor Sich," Hero of Ukraine, people's deputy of
Ukraine Viacheslav Boguslaiev.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of cooperation with the airline "Motor Sich," the results of which was
a preliminary agreement on the organization of regular flights from the airport "Kherson" to Kyiv and Moscow. Thus, the
airline is now working with airports in such cities as Uzhgorod, Vinnytsia, Kryviy Rig, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhya.
Mykola Kostyak Held Business Meetings With Dignitaries of the I Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum
As part of the I Baltic-Black Sea Economic Forum, Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak held a
series of meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps, the guests of honor at the Forum.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation and the further development of international relations with
the countries-participants of the Forum.
Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak focused on the fact that such co-operation is essential for
the region, because the development of economy in Kherson region is only possible with creation of conditions for the
implementation of international business projects and improved trade relations.

Mykola Kostyak: We Will Gather 1.5 Million Tons of Grain Crops In Kherson Region
"The situation in the agricultural sector, which has developed in the region due to drought, is complex. This has been
stated today by representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine and the National Academy of Agrarian
Sciences of Ukraine, because to grow crops in such climatic conditions as in Kherson region is extremely difficult.
However, this year we are planning to gather in the region at least 1.5 million tons of grain crops," - said today the
Chairman of Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak while interacting with journalists.
Americans Will Celebrate In Kherson Region the 225 Anniversary of the Liman Battle
Today, under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the State Administration, the Chief of Staff Viacheslav Biliy was
held a meeting on organizing and holding celebrations to mark the 225th anniversary of the Liman Battle - the victory of
the Russian squadron with the participation of Ukrainian Cossacks, Russian sailors and American Admiral John Paul Jones
over the Turkish fleet.
In the framework of celebration the arrival of the diplomatic corps of the United States is expected, in particular, the
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ukraine John Tefft.
Kherson Residents Made a Film That Makes You Think
Among more than 70 films of movie enthusiasts from Russia, Georgia, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, South Korea and
other countries of the world a short film of Kherson residents became one of the best.
Kherson filmmakers received a bronze medal at the 55th International film festival "White Nights."
In late May, Festival in St. Petersburg gathered the authors of screen art works from around the world. Kherson region
was represented by Oleksandr Bykodyr and Viktor Elagin at the Russian festival.
Director's work, entitled "Watch and Remember" is dedicated to the theme of fascism and its reflection in the modern
world.
