Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Guatemala June 4-5 to participate in the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), the Western Hemisphere’s premier multilateral organization. The Secretary will meet with Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina and will engage in bilateral discussions and consultations with regional counterparts on issues of shared interest.
The U.S. delegation will include R. Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, Roberta S. Jacobson, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Amb. William R. Brownfield, Assistant Secretary of State for Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, and Ambassador Carmen Lomellin, U.S. Permanent Representative to the OAS.
