US Black Hawk Helicopter Crashes Near North Korea Border 16 Apr 2013 A US military Black Hawk helicopter has crashed near the border with North Korea, according to a South
Korean defence official. The helicopter, identified by the Yonhap news agency as a UH-60 Black Hawk, came down in
Cheolwon county, a defence ministry spokesman told AFP. The precise cause of the crash was not immediately clear, but
the incident occurred during ongoing South Korea-US joint military exercises.
Bomb Sniffing Dogs, Spotters on Roofs Before Boston Explosions - UM Coach 15 Apr 2013 University of Mobile's Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a
series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines. "They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it's just a training exercise," Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15. Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He's been in plenty of
marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security
before. "Evidently, I don't believe they were just having a training exercise," Stevenson said. "I think they must have had
some sort of threat or suspicion called in."

Boston runners were warned: Squamish man 15 Apr 2013 (British Columbia) Runners getting set to take part in the Boston Marathon were warned beforehand that they
were going to die, said a Squamish resident who took part in the race. Three people were killed and more than 140 were
injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the famed 42.2-kilometre running event on Monday (April 15).
Mike Heiliger, 59, said a woman holding several bags was telling runners who were picking up their pre-race packages in

this country after two explosions struck the Boston Marathon. The Canada Border Services Agency and the RCMP are
"exercising increased vigilance at points of entry into Canada," according to a spokeswoman for Public Safety Minister

Dow falls more than 200 points after Boston explosions 15 Apr 2013 A sell-off in stocks accelerated Monday afternoon following the news of explosions at the Boston Marathon.
The Dow Jones industrial average, which had been in the red all day, fell 266 points, or 1.8%. About 120 points of that
drop took place following the reports of the explosions in Boston. The S 500 lost 2.3% and the Nasdaq slipped 2.4%.

China confirms 63 H7N9 cases, 14 deaths 15 Apr 2013 During the 24-hour period ending at 6 p.m. on Monday, China confirmed three new cases of H7N9 avian
