Tourism Australia Launches Best Jobs in the World Competition

launches its global, ‘Best Jobs in the World’ campaign
for those seeking employment nirvana and with it hopefully
the ultimate in job satisfaction and a chance to experience
something altogether new.
The ultimate job in some of Australia’s top spots could be a reality for Job seekers and job changers aged 18 years and over who can now submit the ultimate job application and potentially land themselves one of six best jobs in the world.
The six jobs up for grabs cross six States and embrace the very best of Australia’s active lifestyle which is envied the world over. Nature lovers could turn a dream into a reality as an Outback Adventurer in the Northern Territory, a Park Ranger in Queensland or a Wildlife Caretaker in South Australia. If turning fun into an occupation is your idea of the ultimate job, then New South Wales is offering an opening as Chief Funster. For those who are looking to express their creative side then Melbourne, a city big on both life and style is offering the position of Lifestyle Photographer. On a similar theme if you enjoy the best of food and wine, Western Australia is inviting applications for a Taste Master.

Tourism Australia New Zealand General Manager, Jenny Aitken says that the ‘best jobs’ global initiative buillds on the highly successful 2009 ‘Best Job in the World’ competition run by Tourism Queensland, now taking this across six of Australia’s States and Territories. Ms Aitken says that Australia has long held great appeal for Kiwi job seekers as well as those looking to Australia for a gap year or overseas experience, and this initiative serves up six jobs with a difference.
Applications close on 10th April 2013 with the six winners being announced 21 June 2013 and the six-month job period commencing 01 August – 30 June 2014
