The government of Ismail Haneyya has called on the Arab countries to adopt serious and important stands vis-à-vis the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The government said in a letter to Arab countries on Tuesday that Arab information ministers should assume their role in defending the Palestinian people and adopting serious stands toward the Israeli aggression.
It said that the Israeli occupation had crossed all red lines in its aggression on the Palestinian people for decades before the very eyes of the world community without any deterrence.
It said that the Israeli artillery shelling of civilians extending condolences to a family east of Gaza city on Saturday was a crime against humanity and a serious breach of the international humanitarian law.
The government said that the Israeli attempt to “export its internal crisis” and exploit “Palestinian blood for election purposes” could not be acceptable.
