Who Will Play Assange in Hollywood Biopic?
While he may be tucked away in the Ecudorian embassy, speculation continues to mount on who may play Julian Assange in the proposed biopic about his life, with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au installing Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch as the $1.33 favourite to get the role.
Jeremy Renner is next in the market at $5.50, with Aussie pair Chris and Liam Hemsworth also given some chance at $13 and $15 respectively.
Paul Hogan is seen as the long shot in the market at $251.
“Cumberbatch is pretty hot property at the moment and given the fact that he looks very similar to Assange, he deserves to be the short priced favourite,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson
