Medical Services Opens Operations Department In Algerian Hospital, Provides Service For 8210 Patients

Directorate of Medical Services in the Gaza Strip has opened the surgery operations department in the Algerian hospital in Khan Younis.

Dr.Atef Kahlout,Director General of Medical Services, said that this opening complements the development projects announced by the medical services for the betterment of the institution.

Kahlout added that the surgery operations department is supported by medical equipment to the latest international standards, where the doctors are able to perform four distinct operations in the early hours of the opening under the supervision of doctors Ayman Zo’rob and Rami AbuQasim.

Separately, medical services said in its weekly report that 8210 patients have received integrated medical service including 29 surgery and 23births.

It explained that the health insurance Unit issued 678 card, while the medical committee conducted the medical examination of 30 ill and injured from the members of the security services.

The clinics of rehabilitation and reform centers has distributed medicine to hepatitis patients for 698 inmates.
