NABLUS, (PIC)-- Palestinian prisoner Abdullah Al-Aker, a fighter from Al-Qassam Brigades, went on open hunger strike on Sunday to protest his detention without guilt in a Palestinian authority jail.
His family affirmed that Aker told the PA administration of Al-Juneid prison that he started his hunger strike today and would not stop it until he is released.
It added that the PA jailers transferred Aker and his cellmate Abdulhakim Al-Qadah to a section where some punished security men are held.
The family appealed to Hamas Movement and human rights organizations to intervene to have its son released from the PA jail.
