Serious Deterioration Reported In Condition Of Hunger Striker Dhiab

13/05/2012 - 05:06 PM

JENIN, (PIC)-- An Israeli hospital refused to receive Palestinian detainee Bilal Dhiab due to his serious condition after 76 days of hunger strike, Islamic Jihad sources said.

They said that Dhiab was taken back to Ramle prison hospital, noting that he was transferred to an Israeli public hospital on Sunday after he fainted for a long time.

Dhiab affirmed in a message to his family that his morale was high and sent them his will.

Abdulrahman Zeidan, a detained MP, said that the Palestinian prisoners are defiant and would continue in their hunger strike until all their demands are met.

He warned, however, in a message leaked from his prison cell that some of them were in serious condition.
